Luna Moth Watercolor Tutorial✨
Come paint this magical Luna Moth with lovely roses and leaves and a big glowing sun!
In this class, we’ll explore beautiful colors and create some depth with our watercolors! For a quicker process, I recommend a hair dryer to use in between drying times so we can move on to another layer- or if not, just give your piece the time to dry in between :)
We will focus on details in the flower, glazing colors and lastly using a white pen to add in fun details in the antenna and highlights!
Feel free to use any colors that speak to you! We’ll be working with watercolors, one of the most beautiful mediums! The light airy flow, magical way the colors blend- it's a perfect medium for any artist at any learning stage!
I’ll guide you step-by-step as we create sunset colored roses, green foliage, and this beautiful green moth! I try to keep the techniques easy to follow, but feel free to chat with me if you are having issues! When I am learning, I tend to watch the video first, then paint along the second time around, especially with watercolors. Just a tip, feel free to paint and follow along in a manner that feels right to you!
