Let’s Paint Magic!
Step into my world as I bring my inspirations to life—full of magic, wonder, and daydreams. I'm so excited to share my new painting classes with you!
These classes are a pay-what-you-can offering, because I believe art should be accessible to everyone, no matter their circumstances. My hope is that you’ll feel inspired, supported, and free to create in your own unique way.
Come paint this magical flower with me!
In this intuitive class, we’ll explore beautiful blues and mix our own lovely greens for the leaves—but feel free to use any colors that speak to you! We’ll be working with acrylic gouache, a wonderfully versatile medium. It can be used like watercolors or acrylics, and its creamy texture even reminds me of oils. It dries to a matte finish, but if you love a bit of shine, you can always add a varnish at the end.
I’ll guide you step-by-step as we create a soft, atmospheric background with a simple washy technique and star-like splatters. Then we’ll sketch in our flower, leaves, and some playful swirls, layering on opaque paint to bring everything to life. We’ll build depth with a final “glaze” to gently push the leaves into the background, adding a touch of magic and dimension.
We’ll finish with stamped or hand lettering for a personal touch. I’ll also be sharing all the tools I use—brushes, paints, mediums, and paper—so you’ll feel fully supported.
